DAVID L. WARD, JR. ENDOWMENT

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS: the scholarship recipient shall carry an academic course load of not less than twelve (12) credit hours each semester, and shall be a citizen and resident of the State of North Carolina, as such terms are defined for tuition purposes. Factors to be considered in selection shall include, but not be limited to, financial need and interest in further education. The scholarship recipients must maintain no less than a 3.0 cumulative GPA. Upon receipt of less than a 3.0 cumulative GPA, the recipient must bring the average up within two semesters. If recipient fails to bring the GPA up within two semesters, the scholarship shall be withdrawn. The scholarship is renewable and may be used for books and tuition.
