THOMAS E. MINGES MEMORIAL / PEPSI SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS: Must be a U.S. citizen and a resident of Beaufort, Carteret, Onslow, Craven, Lenoir, Martin, Pamlico, Pitt, Greene, Hyde, Tyrell, Jones, Washington, or Bertie counties for at least 12 months before the scholarship is awarded. In the event that the applicant is a member of the military or an immediate family member of someone in the military, the residency requirement is waived provided the applicant is based in the affected counties for at least 12 months. Must enroll as a full-time (12 credit hours) student. Applicant must demonstrate unmet financial need; exhibit academic achievement with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher; and, academic achievements, special awards, job experience and community activities are going to be considered in the final decision.

Scholarships can be awarded to the same applicant for a second year, but the applicant must reapply and be reviewed against the other applicants that apply for that school year.
