The scholarship recipient must carry an academic course load of at least twelve (12) credit hours for each fall and spring semester.
The scholarship recipient must be a citizen of the United States of America and a resident of North Carolina; as such terms are defined for tuition purposes.
The scholarship is an annual award to a single student enrolled in a medical curriculum with disbursements beginning in the fall and continuing through the academic year or until the scholarship funds are exhausted.
The priority for consideration in selection will be given to students interested in transferring to a four institution to pursue a degree in a medical field.
The scholarship recipient must have no less than a 2.5 cumulative grade point average at the time of award and maintain at least a 2.5 cumulative grade point average.
The scholarship recipient must not receive more than the cost of tuition, fees, and books in combination with this or any Federal, State, or other College administered scholarships.
