W. David McFadyen, Jr. Family Scholarship Endowment

The scholarship is an annual award to a single student (or multiple students, depending on funds availability) with disbursements beginning in the fall and continuing through the following summer semester or until the scholarship funds are exhausted.
The scholarship recipient must pursue an Associate’s Degree in either Career or Health Programs.
The scholarship recipient must be a single parent with a dependent child living within the household.
The scholarship recipient must carry an academic course load of at least twelve (12) Credit Hours for each Fall and Spring Semester.
The scholarship recipient must be a citizen of the United States of America and a resident of North Carolina and Craven County; as such terms are defined for tuition purposes.
The scholarship recipient must have no less than a 2.5 cumulative grade point average at the time of award if previously enrolled at the College and maintain at least a 2.5 cumulative grade point average.
The scholarship recipient may not receive scholarship funds, in combination with any Federal, State, or College administered scholarships that would exceed the total charges for tuition, fees, required course materials, and related testing expenditures.
