Coastal North Carolina Veterans Foundation Scholarship Endowment

The scholarship recipient requirements in descending order are:
a) Purple Heart recipient
b) Son/Daughter/Grandchild of Purple Heart Recipient
c) Veteran of U.S. Military Service
d) Student who otherwise qualifies per stated general criteria
The scholarship recipient must carry an academic course load of at least Twelve (12) Credit Hours for each of the fall and spring semesters.
The scholarship recipient must be a citizen of the United States of America and a resident of North Carolina and Carteret, Craven, Onslow, Jones or Pamlico Counties; as such terms are defined for tuition purposes.
The scholarship recipient must have no less than a 2.5 cumulative grade point average at the time of award if previously enrolled at the College and maintain at least a 2.5 cumulative grade point average.
The scholarship recipient may not receive scholarship funds, in combination with any Federal, State, or College administered scholarships that would exceed the total charges for tuition, fees, required course materials, and related testing expenditures.
The scholarship is renewable for one additional year, in lieu of selecting a new recipient, provided the recipient meets all qualifications set forth in the agreement.
